The Lyon County District Attorney’s Office prosecutes misdemeanor and felony criminal cases involving adult and juvenile offenders.  The Office works in conjunction with and assists State and local law enforcement agencies.  The District Attorney’s Office has also established a fraudulent check program that works with local businesses to prevent such crimes and to seek restitution.

The District Attorney’s Office provides legal advice to and represents Lyon County government and local governmental districts within Lyon County. The Office represents the interests of the public in child protection cases and in the collection of child support.
