Senior Citizen Program

Nevada offers a Senior Citizen Property Tax or Rent Rebate program to senior citizens.

Eligibility

If you will be 62 years of age or older as of June 30th and have resided in the State of Nevada for six months or longer and your household income is approximately $28,677 a year or less (amount varies according to CPI), you may be eligible.

Applying for the Program

The filing period for the Tax or Rent Rebate program is from February 1 to April 30 of each year. The amount of rebate depends on household income and taxes or rent paid.
