Yerington, Nevada – Lyon County is developing a comprehensive Water Resource Plan to help protect and manage one of our most valuable resources — ๐ฐ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ. The plan will guide long-term strategies for sustainable water use, infrastructure, and resource protection across the county.
Community input is vital to ensure the plan reflects local priorities and challenges. Residents are encouraged to share their perspectives by completing the Lyon County Water Resource Plan Survey, open from October 20 through November 24, 2025.
Survey results will help shape policies and projects that support reliable, safe, and resilient water systems for our communities.
