The Third Judicial District Courts will be closed today, Thursday, January 11, 2024, with the exception of the Fernley Juvenile Master Court which will be held entirely remote via the Zoom link below:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE  

January 11, 2024                                          

Lyon County Offices Closed Today Due to Inclement Weather

 Yerington, Nevada – Due to inclement weather and potentially dangerous road conditions, all Lyon County offices (other than essential public safety personnel), will be closed today, Thursday, January 11, 2024. Lyon County emergency and snow removal personnel are working to address public safety concerns. 

Dayton Justice Court, Fernley Canal Township Justice Court, and Walker River Justice Court will be closed, and all court proceedings will be cancelled today, Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Lyon County officials are continuing to monitor road conditions and urge residents to avoid all nonessential travel. For current road conditions, visit https://www.nvroads.com or call 511.
