PUBLIC NOTICE
Lyon County, Nevada – The Lyon County Clerk/Treasurer’s Office is pleased to announce that we have successfully negotiated improved debit card processing fees to support our taxpayers when making real and personal property tax payments.
Updated Payment Processing Fees effective 11:49 PM on December 5, 2025:
- Electronic Debit Card Payments (online or by phone): Reduced from 2.5% to 1% of the transaction amount.
- Electronic Check (eCheck) Payments: Flat fee of $3.00 per transaction.
- Credit Card and All Other Card Transactions: Will continue to be processed at 2.5% of the transaction amount.
These changes are part of our ongoing efforts to reduce costs, improve service, and support the taxpayers of Lyon County.
