Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect

The Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS) is the agency with the authority to investigate allegations of child abuse and neglect in rural Nevada, which includes Lyon County. They provide the following information for reporting suspected child abuse and neglect:

Suspect Vulnerable Adult Abuse and Neglect

The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is the agency with the authority to investigate allegations of abuse, neglect, self-neglect, exploitation, isolation and abandonment for vulnerable adults age 18-59, in addition to persons 60 years and older.
