Hazard Mitigation

Hazards can happen at any time, regardless of season, date or time. In recent years, Lyon County has endured the impacts of a variety of hazards‐turned disasters. Lyon County and regional partners identified potential hazards and mitigation strategies to reduce the impacts of future disasters in the 2023 Lyon County Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan.
